About Euronext Paris
Founded in 1724 by royal edict of Louis XV, the Paris Bourse merged into Euronext in 2000 and is now the largest of the federated Euronext markets. It is the home venue for the CAC 40, a blue-chip index of the 40 largest French listed companies, including luxury giants (LVMH, Hermès, Kering, L'Oréal), energy major TotalEnergies, aerospace and defence (Airbus, Safran, Thales), and the major French banks. Broader benchmarks include the SBF 120 and CAC All-Tradable.
