About Bolsa Mexicana de Valores
The Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) was founded in 1894 as the Mexico City Stock Exchange and is Mexico's senior equities and derivatives venue. Since 2018 it has shared the Mexican equities market with BIVA (Bolsa Institucional de Valores), which competes for routing and listings. Headline benchmark is the S&P/BMV IPC, an index of the largest and most liquid 35 Mexican companies, including América Móvil, Walmart de México, Grupo México, FEMSA, and Banorte.
