About Euronext Amsterdam
Established in 1602 to facilitate trading in shares of the Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie (VOC, the Dutch East India Company), the Amsterdam Stock Exchange is widely regarded as the world's oldest functioning stock exchange.
