The fund endeavors to fulfill its investment objective by directing a minimum of 80% of its net assets, under typical market conditions, either directly or indirectly, into the holdings of its benchmark index. This unmanaged, volatility-weighted index was developed by the Sub-Advisor. Its construction integrates fundamental criteria with a distinct method for controlling individual security risk, accomplished by assigning weights based on each security's volatility, as opposed to the more common market-capitalization approach.
