This fund aims to build a widely diversified portfolio by allocating capital across numerous industries in established global markets, along with a more selective allocation to developing economies. It typically holds investments in a minimum of five countries, always including the United States. During standard market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets (which incorporate any borrowed funds for investment) are dedicated to equity securities, with a further stipulation that at least 40% of these net assets must be invested in companies based outside the U.S.
