Under typical market conditions, it dedicates a minimum of 80% of its total assets—including any funds borrowed for investment—to the common shares of small-capitalization companies. These small-cap firms are identified as those with market values comparable to the companies found in the Russell 2000® Index, specifically as determined by its most recent month-end reconstitution.
