Under typical market conditions, the Fund aims to allocate at least 80% of its total assets to a varied portfolio of corporate fixed-income securities designed to offer higher returns. These investments primarily consist of bonds that are rated below investment grade when acquired, or unrated securities that the subadviser deems to possess similar credit quality. Such debt instruments are commonly known as "junk bonds," "high yield bonds," or "non-investment grade bonds," and may occasionally include "distressed debt."
